A landing page is an online page that aims to get the visitor to take a specific action. In this case, it prompts the consumer to make a purchase. They're standalone pages designed to drive conversions. The Fabulous's marketing department develops tens versions of landing pages to perform A/B tests. What I should do as a user-centric programmer: I need to ensure cross-browser compatibility, deliver high-quality code that is clean and extensible (we don't want to code every landing page from scratch, do we?) and finally, I need to pay extreme attention to details and not ruin the designers' work.
